ABOUT SAFETY ROOF ANCHORS
Built From Experience Working at Height
Safety Roof Anchors grew from working with anchors in the environments they are designed for — on buildings, on ropes and in the hands of installers.
WHERE IT STARTED
What Created Our Passion
SRA is a Sydney-based Australian manufacturer specialising in anchors and height safety products for professionals working at height.
Our background in rope access, height safety installation and building maintenance has given us first-hand experience of the challenges that can arise when selecting and installing anchors in real structures.
That experience continues to shape the way we approach our products today.

OUR STORY
From Using Anchors to Making Them
Safety Roof Anchors was established from within the rope access and height safety industry.
Working at height meant using anchor points every day — installing them, connecting to them, inspecting them and relying on them to perform as intended.
It also provided an understanding of the practical problems installers encounter.
Different structures require different approaches. Access isn’t always straightforward. Fixing conditions vary. And a product that looks simple can involve important decisions about where, how and why it is installed.
Rather than simply accepting what was available, SRA began developing anchor products informed by this experience.
That remains an important part of the business today.
HOW WE APPROACH PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Start With the Application
For us, product development starts with understanding what the anchor needs to do.
What is it being fixed to?
How will it be installed?
How is it intended to be used?
What loads and directions need to be considered?
How will it be accessed for future inspection?
From there, practical experience is combined with engineering and testing to develop a product for the intended application.
Not every situation requires the same anchor, which is why SRA has developed a range of different products rather than trying to make one anchor solve every problem.
This application-led approach continues as existing products are refined and new products are developed.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
A Range That Continues to Develop
Working at height changes. Building methods change. Fixing technology develops. Standards and industry requirements evolve.
Our product range continues to develop with them.
Some products solve relatively straightforward installation requirements. Others have been developed for more specialised applications.
What connects them is the same approach: understand the application, consider the practical installation requirements, engineer and test where required, and provide clear information about how the product is intended to be used.
Experienced installers have valuable knowledge.
They see different structures, difficult access conditions and unusual installation situations every day. That practical feedback can identify opportunities to improve products, documentation and installation methods.
We want that conversation.
We work closely with installers through product support, technical information and our Certified Installer training program.
It’s a relationship that helps installers better understand our products — and helps us remain connected to how those products are being used in the field.
